Jesus is radically committed to those who trust in him. This is contractual language.
This is the highest priority of Jesus’ life. His commitment to you is highest priority, there is no other priority in his life than to get you connected to God. That's a radical commitment!

In Matthew 21:28-39, we hear Jesus make a very powerful statement, 'Truly I say to you, the prostitutes and tax collectors will enter the kingdom of God before you.' What does this mean for the moral and good?
The issue that Jesus is going after is how our hearts want to forget everything we have is a gift, and therefore we can take no credit for it. Why do our hearts tend to be this way?

A theme that runs through the Proverbs and the whole Bible is the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is a term many wrestle with; scriptures like ‘the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,’ and ‘the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.’ Why is the fear of the Lord so important, and what is it? The fear of the Lord is a life rearranging, joyful, awe, and wonder before the greatness of who God is and what he has done. So why use the term fear?

You can make or break your life on your ability to make right choices. Is this the person I should marry? Should I hire this person? is this right career for me? is this the right amount of freedom to give my child at this age? is this the right person to confide in?
Every one of those situations have many options, most all of them are moral, legal and allowable. However, most of them aren’t wise, so we need guidance to make decisions.
The questions is “how do we get God’s guidance?” So, when all these choices are before us, we know what the right course of action we should take.

Today we are looking at one of the main themes of the book of Proverbs, using anger for good. Handling anger in yourself and in other people is the goal. There are some things we need to know about anger in order to be wise. Anger is an explosive emotion; it is the dynamite of the soul. Anger has the power to obliterate things.
