The Gardeners Pruning Shears

We are looking at character change as it relates to a relationship with Jesus, in John 15. Our hearts are conductive materials, designed to connect us with God. What does it mean to be transformed by a relationship with Jesus? It doesn’t necessarily mean an emotional experience, though it can be. It means that we are grafted in as a branch into the vine, and therefore, we participate in God's divine nature. The Gardener cuts off every branch that does not bear fruit. He prunes the branches that bear fruit so that there is even more fruit. What is the fruit that determines a mechanical or vital attachment to the vine? Join us!
