Need A Little Patience
This week, Bill discusses the next fruit of the spirit: patience. In old English, the term longsuffering is used instead of patience. The literal translation of the word "patience" is to "suffer for a long time." That does not sound very encouraging or easy. The character trait of patience means bearing up under difficulty without giving up or giving in to bitterness. There are two kinds of patience: patience under difficult circumstances and patience and grace when dealing with people. Ready for this?
